dishPiet Boon's Base Collection is Modern architecture translated as tableware. I'm so thrilled to have found these wonderful vessels. The gloss finish on the inside next to the food, and a lovely matte finish on the outside for contrast. These are sturdier than they look and dishwasher safe.
The math geek in me - the part that loves architectural drafting - revels in the mathematic simplicity of this collection. The diameters range from 8cm-32cm in 4cm increments (with a tiny salt or sauce plate at 6cm) and there are 6 different heights ranging from 1.5cm to 9cm in 1.5cm increments. Perfection!
These are the three lower heights known as the Plates - see the "bowls" listing for the taller items. The small deep bowl makes a perfect tea cup.
